Advice, Opinions Needed!

I plan on purchasing a 9mm handgun soon. I was wondering if it is too much gun for me, will I be able to handle it? I dont want a gun with alot of kick, but I dont want a girly gun either. I would appreciate any advise or recommendations.

Check-out the Bersa. Great pistol, 380, 9mm, and 45. Very serious and reliable pistol. I have a 380 w/ankle holster. Its light-weight, durable, and highly accurate. I have been very pleased with mine. I have fired 200-300 rds. (Hollow-Points) with no problems. Hope this helps you...Later Nohub

Oh yes, several other things to consider ie: Lighter the wepon, usually the less recoil. Ease of cleaning (dis-assembly) and saftey features. The Bersa is very light-weight (380), and is very easy to field dis-assemble and clean. The 380 Bersa only comes w/ right-hand saftey, so if you are a south-paul, you may want to consider something else. A 380 would not be a weapon of choice of mine in gun battle however, I have been very impressed with the Bersa and very pleased with my purchase.... Hope this helps you!!! Later...Nohub

Go forth and rent a few at the range. You will soon find out what feels best. Oh and stay away from the DE.50.

I agree with GRAEME. My guess is if youve never fired anything as stiff or stiffer than a 9mm you probably havent shot all that much. I went through the same thoughts before I really got going. Take your time to try some things. Nobodys shot you yet, youll most likely survive long enough to make the right choice. Besides, it gives you an excuse to go to the range and shoot a bunch of different guns. Much fun!
