.45/.410 Contender

Im looking to get a contedner .45/.410 handgun but the price tag is a little steap. From what I have heard there are similar handguns out there but have been unable to find any. Can anyone give some suggestions? Looking for something smaller than a full lenght rifle to carry in the woods for the occasional grouse that comes by.

Go ahead and do whatever you must to get the contender. There is no satisfactory substitute. Ive had mine for 10+ years and Im still glad to own it. It sure put a lot of fun back into small game hunting and you can always add other barrels for other needs.
