I just inhearted a Parker 12 side by side. #144975 and don't know much about it. Is it safe to shoot modern ammo of 2 3/4". The only posting I have found says it was made in 1907 and chambred for 2 1/2".
Help.
Gun is in good shape however the receiver is blue and I have been told all Parkers had a shiny or nickle finish on the receiver. Help does this hurt the value.
